5 climbers have been killed and one severely injured in an accident close to Krimml, within the Austrian Alps.
5 rescue helicopters had been despatched to the scene, 2,000m above sea degree within the the Zillertal Alps mountain vary.
Authorities say the precise reason behind the incident is unclear, however six individuals who had been climbing with ropes seem to have fallen collectively.
Just one survived, and was flown to hospital in Salzburg, round 80km (50 miles) away.
Officers say the climbers had been beneath the Mannlkarscharte cross, in an space with a heightened threat of rockslides.
