The UK premiere of a documentary about well-known road artist Banksy is to be held in Aberdeen.
Saving Banksy explores makes an attempt to protect and revenue from the nameless Bristol artist’s work.
The premiere is being held on Saturday 15 April on the Belmont Filmhouse, as a part of the NuArt Aberdeen pageant.
Belmont supervisor Colin Farquhar defined: “Banksy is a cultural phenomenon and we’re certain the displaying shall be widespread.”
Banksy’s photographs are daubed on partitions world wide, and are price huge sums of cash.
James Finucane, basic supervisor of the NuArt Competition, mentioned: “Saving Banksy has acquired widespread essential acclaim since its launch within the US earlier this 12 months.
“It is an excellent coup for Aberdeen and an interesting perception into present debates about road artwork apply and the standard artwork institution’s efforts to take away the ‘road’ from ‘road artwork’.”
